In 1995, KEA Campers was launched as a boutique campervan manufacturing and rental company in Auckland, New Zealand. Today, KEA has grown to encompass four factories, a Campervan and Motorhome Service & Retail Centre and a range of sales premises across Australia and New Zealand - in addition to operating a rental fleet of more than 1,200 luxury campervans, motorhomes and 4WD campers in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Namibia.

Our Locations
KEA has sales premises in locations across Australia, as well as New Zealand and Southern Africa. Our range of campervans and motorhomes is considered the newest, most comfortable and best appointed in the market.

Our Vehicles
KEA’s range comprises two, four and six berth campervans, motorhomes and 4WD campers which have been purpose-designed and built by KEA for comfort, safety, security and reliability. Our vehicles are manufactured locally at our own factories and they're designed specifically for Australian conditions.

Our Environment
Every KEA vehicle features solar panels, renewable materials, the most advanced emission control standards, best-practice waste management systems and the lowest fuel consumption rates of any campervan company across Australia, New Zealand and Southern Africa.

In Australia, KEA is the only campervan rental company to have achieved the Leave No Trace certification of the Campervan Motorhome Club of Australia (CMCA). In New Zealand, KEA is also Green Globe benchmarked as well as being the first campervan and motorhome company to have vehicles certified self-contained through the New Zealand Motorhome and Caravan Association (NZMCA).

KEA’s approach to manufacturing is to continuously raise the bar on comfort and style. Through constant innovation, the use of lightweight yet highly durable materials and benchmarked manufacturing techniques, KEA vehicles offer the biggest beds, largest combined shower/toilet units and the most comprehensive list of features in the market – including laptop-sized safes and central locking security doors.

Our Awards
In recent years KEA achieved a unique feat for a New Zealand tourism company, being judged the country’s top performing Tourism Business at the New Zealand Tourism Awards – earning the Supreme Award – for the second consecutive year. This was the first time in the NZTA’s 50-year history that a company was honoured with the Supreme Award two years in a row. KEA is also in the NZ Tourism Hall of Fame, having won the coveted Distinction Award.

In 2006 KEA became the first New Zealand campervan manufacturer to export to Australia – sending complete motorhomes from the KEA Manufacturing plant in Auckland to KEA Australia.
