"Here are some photos (inspired by receiving your Goodlife newsletter). We have enjoyed our KEA Dreamtime very much with mainly short trips to Qld & Vic...SA in March 2010. These pics were taken on our way to visit friends in Vic and we overnighted in Bombala...the snow was a bonus for early spring!! All we had for warmth was a 2 bar radiator which did the job admirably. We have also added an Nespresso Citiz coffee maker to the appliances and we recommend any Camper purchaser get one of these for delightful espresso anytime!! Greetings to all!"
"We are writing to compliment your organisation on its excellent service. We have just purchased a 3 year old motorhome from KEA and found courtesy and professionalism to be evident in each contact with your staff... We were also pleasantly surprised by the immaculate condition in which we received our vehicle and your company's attention to detail which is very obvious. It has been a pleasure to have our first trip out in the motorhome this weekend and to find so many great features at our fingertips. It was also lovely to start off with a virtually 'new' motorhome, with everything spotlessly clean and ready for us. It is very refreshing to experience this high level of customer service both before and after the sale. Thank you very much and well done!"
"We love our Kea and are proud to be part of the family."

"We bought our Kea this year and have had afew short trips,but the best was our trip to Queensland. We did over 7000 kilometers, and had many comments about the set up.In Byron Bay we stopped at a lookout and met a couple who had bought a brand new one,(side entrance) at a show.They asked us to park alongside so that photos could be taken. We were very impressed with the fuel economy. We have fitted a solar panel, and the 12 volt shop said that the electrics is a very good setup, and the quality good too."
Roger & Barbara My Motorhome I'm sitting in the driver's seat and I'm happy as a lark;
Rolling down the highway or stopping in a wayside park.
I've left behind the things in life that don't matter any more;
I don't look back and yearn for the life I had before.
- This is an excerpt from a poem by Maxine McLaughlin, a very happy KEA customer. She has written a booklet of poetry entitled "Who'll Come A-Motorhoming With Me? - Fun-filled verses on just about everything to do with motorhoming. Please

"Eighteen months ago we decided to hire a motor home to see if we would like to do the big trip in one, (when we get to retire) as opposed to a caravan. We enjoyed that trip from Hoppers Crossing up the southern NSW coast to Brisbane so much; we thought we should try hiring again. Six months later we did and got hooked. From that time on, we searched the Wanderer sales section, went to various caravan and motorhome shows, etc etc etc. and ended up at Sandown raceway where we met you, Anne and a KEA ex – rental 6 berth Winnebago. With all the extras that were thrown in and the fact that we didn’t have to purchase linen, pots or pans, not a thing, just get in, drive away and camp, there was no point in looking elsewhere. We would like to thank You and Wayne at Tullamarine depot for your assistance over the past few months since purchasing our motor home. We have no hesitation in recommending you guys, when talking to anyone thinking of purchasing a motorhome / camper, consider having a look at a KEA ex – rental."

"We purchased our 6 berth unit from you in October 2003 and still say that it is the best thing we ever did. After 3 years we have recently completed our 18th trip in it. KEA seem to have made a good move in the association with the CMCA and to a good extent reduced or eliminated any stigma associated with purchasing an ex rental unit. If you ever have a need for potential customers of yours to speak to a satisfied owner, we are happy to oblige."

"I would like to congratulate and thank KEA Campers Australia for their excellence in customer service. From the very first meeting I was more than impressed with their product and friendly attitude. No question was too hard and the staff were very helpful, purchasing a KEA camper I felt very confident that I was doing the right thing having their support Australia wide. A year after I purchased the motorhome, I encountered a mechanical problem with the vehicle. After meeting resistance from Ford regarding the warranty, I contacted KEA Campers National Sales Manager Mr. Norman Roe, who without hesitation contacted Ford to discuss my case. Within three days of my initial contact with Norman, I received a phone call from Metro Ford Brisbane and to my delight I was informed that all repairs would be carried out free of charge. I would like to thank Norman Roe for his valuable help and professionalism. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending KEA Campers as they have proven to me that they really care about their customers. Their before and after-sales service is second to none which is hard to find in this day and age." -

"Our first experience of holidaying and travelling in a campervan was about 6 years ago when we hired a poptop and travelled from Perth to Broome.We enjoyed the experience so much that we hired poptop campervans for two more trips in Western Australia and then made the decision to buy our own. From the different companies we rented from we found the Kea van had the best layout, with better quality fittings and more features, like the hot water system. Also the vehicles were newer and well maintained and we received very good service from Kea. When we purchased, we also chose to purchase an ex rental Kea van because the layout was the one that we wanted and they were in good condition. We have been very appreciative of the after sales service from Kea as well. We are regularly using the van on weekends and short holiday trips and really enjoying the carefree lifestyle that the campervan provides, as well as the access to some of the most beautiful spots in Australia."

"A few days ago we became the proud owners of one of the ex-rental Kea vehicles. But what made the experience extraordinary was the expertise, the extensive knowledge, the patience and the personality of Michael Hartzsch who runs the Cairns depot. From the very first moment we set foot in the office to the moment we left he took great effort in given us all the information and much more. We cannot express what a breath of fresh air he was and how he has restored our faith in salespeople ! The communication Michael kept going as we waited was frequent and clear and he answered every question we had over and above the requirement. Please do not lose this man: he is seriously good for business ! We are very grateful to Michael and his staff for all their effort which we shall be recommending far and wide."

"As a recent purchaser of a Kea Camper, I would like to commend the Kea Campers staff on their excellent customer and after sale service. From initial phone reception to drive away sales time for questions was never an issue and courtesey regarding customer needs was always of high priority. After my purchase I came away with a genuine feeling that Kea Camper staff are happy to provide total customer satisfaction. Thanks again guys for providing me with a vehicle I can rely on."

"We can’t tell you how delighted we are with our new Kea Camper. We’ve just done our first big trip, nine weeks up to North Queensland via the coast and back through the inland of New South Wales. Having the freedom to choose where and when we stopped opened possibilities for us to appreciate even more the beautiful country we live in.
An added bonus was the ease of just about everything we did – from driving our motorhome with lunch or other stops just to take in incredible views over coffee, parking in a normal parking space at shopping centres for essentials (and frequent retail reconnaissance or therapy for the shopper in the team) and, at day’s end, to setting up in less than ten minutes to enjoy the daily ‘fivesies’ in our own company or that of other campers – often much to the envy of our tented fellow travellers! And we didn’t have to tow! This convenience certainly outweighed the necessity to constantly travel like turtles with our home ‘on our backs’.
But what a turtle! Apart from the fact that we had room in the under bed locker for two golf sets and buggies, travelling along highways and freeways averaging 100kms/hour was no problem for the 2.4l turbo engine. But our ‘turtle’ power managed equally well the steep climb up and over the Great Dividing Range. Fuel consumption over 8215kms averaged 9l/100kms, with the highest fuel consumption 11l/100kms in Central Western Queensland where the 36-37 degree temps turned us to driving in air-conditioned comfort.
Our thanks go to you and the Kea staff. Your Australian crew matched in every way the friendly and helpful team we had found in New Zealand when we took advantage of your ‘try before you buy’ offer. And minor after sales service needs have been met to date with the same willingness to help. We are now eagerly planning next year’s adventure – Central and Western Oz – and, of course, the golf courses along the way.
